Guided tour of the Musée d'Orsay

Discover Impressionist painting with an official French guide (in English).

Housed in the former Orsay railway station, its collections showcase Western art from 1848 to 1914 in all its diversity (painting, sculpture, decorative arts, graphic art, photography, architecture, etc.). It is one of the largest museums in Europe for this period. It has the largest collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings in the world.

⚠️ Important information: the meeting point is at entrance B (group entrance), on the forecourt, on the Seine side (or on the left side when facing the museum). It is very important to be on time!

Stéphane Coviaux

Stéphane Coviaux is a lecturer in art history. A graduate of the Institut Supérieur de Théologie des Arts (ISTA), he founded the cultural association Venez et Voyez in 1998. Convinced that understanding works of art does not depend primarily on acquired knowledge but on one's relationship to the works, he practises a pedagogy based primarily on the quality of presence and observation.
