Bernadette Sauvaget

A specialist in issues of religion and secularism, Bernadette Sauvaget has been in charge of this section at Libération for fifteen years, after spending several years at the Protestant weekly Réforme. She has also made several documentaries and published a number of books, the latest of which, Notre-Dame ressuscitée (Fayard), recounts the major renovation project at the cathedral.

Sophie de Ravinel has been a journalist for 30 years, including 22 years at Le Figaro in the International, Society and Politics sections. She was a correspondent in the Vatican for several years. Now a freelance journalist, she contributes to numerous media outlets. She has set up a university course to bring the media and research closer together.
