The French Bible Alliance is an interdenominational association that develops various projects to spark interest in the Bible and encourage its reading. Its team produces podcasts, designs special editions of the Bible (for homeless or incarcerated people) and creates numerous resources for young people. The French Bible Alliance also has a rich collection of ancient Bibles. This collection began when the association was founded in 1818. Today, it contains nearly 2,500 Bibles, Psalters and New Testaments. These different copies are beautifully displayed in the basement of 6Lhomond. During the European Meeting in Taizé, we are offering you the opportunity to discover this timeless space and some of the treasures it contains. These include incunabula, a New Testament by Erasmus, several volumes of a Bible in Braille and an 18th-century Torah scroll.
