December 29, 2025 at 3:00 PM (UTC+1)
French
This play recounts the first day of work for a new nursing assistant in a nursing home. Through humour and emotion, she discovers the lives of the residents who live there. The aim of this show is to raise or renew awareness of the courage, fragility and human richness of those who are going through the difficult experience of living in a nursing home. It aims to make people want to meet them, both on stage and in real life. The vast majority of situations and dialogues are based on real-life experiences.

Yann Pichot

Yann Pichot, originally from Vendée in western France, has two passions: theatre and physiotherapy. After obtaining his physiotherapy diploma, he enrolled at the Cours Florent drama school. At the same time, he continued to work as a physiotherapist in a nursing home. There, he was deeply moved by the people he met, the courage of the care team and the fragility and human richness of our elders. In his final year at drama school, he wrote and directed "Quatrième étage" (Fourth Floor), which has been performed for just over a year in various venues (theatres, secondary schools, town halls, etc.) to highlight the challenges of old age and fragility that urgently need to be addressed.
