According to Christian social thought, communal life is experienced as a quest for a dynamic of the common good that can articulate justice and charity. The tensions between individuals and communities are the fabric that invites us to become actors in a shared world that seeks the good of the least among us. The closely linked "cry of the earth and cry of the poor" invite us to invent new paths of interdependence.
