When we speak of Orthodox spirituality, we are speaking first and foremost of a personal experience in the Holy Spirit. But this experience is accompanied by an inner struggle against evil, against our ego, against all kinds of dependencies that separate us from God. The goal of this struggle is the kingdom of God, the presence of God's grace in our lives, the light of Christ's Resurrection.
