What happens when victims speak out? Many feel alone. Some victims have left the Church, others need to rebuild their relationship with God and then with the Church. When a victim wishes to journey in faith, "tailor-made" support is essential... Parishes, dioceses, institutions and movements must work on this task with victims.

Brigitte Navail

A member of the victims' collective "Foi et Résilience" (Faith and Resilience), Brigitte Navail has been involved for several years in the fight against sexual violence, particularly in working groups with the CEF and CORREF. She is a doctoral student in fundamental theology at the Institut Catholique de Paris (ICP).

Sister Véronique Margron

Sister Véronique Margron

Sister Véronique Margron, a Dominican, is a theologian and head of her congregation for Europe and the Middle East. For the past nine years, she has been president of the Conference of Religious Men and Women of France (CORREF) and in this capacity has had to deal with the crisis of sexual abuse and violence in the Church in France, especially in religious congregations.

Sophie Lebrun

Sophie Lebrun has been following the abuse crisis and its repercussions on the Catholic Church over the last ten years as a journalist for La Vie magazine, while also publishing two books on the subject (Omerta - La pédophilie dans l'Eglise, published by Tallandier in 2019, and Abus sexuels dans l'Eglise - Et si on se parlait ?, published by Médiaspaul in 2021). A journalist in the Christian press for over fifteen years, she covers current events in Christianity.
